Beauty Mish Mash

Hi everyone! I’m just posting a little update from my phone whilst I’m away in Wales for a few days (see blurry phone photo below!) I was hoping to continue posting as normal this week but unfortunately I don’t have internet here, and the only place with wifi isn’t working!:( so I can’t post this weeks Wednesday wish list, and I won’t be able to resume posting until I’m back at the weekend. I also can’t approve and reply to comments from my phone – I can only read them! So thank you for your lovely comments and I shall catch up and reply as soon as I’m home
Wales is lovely – it’s been really sunny so far and we’re about to have a barbecue on the beach! I hope you’re all having a good week so far, speak to you soon!^_^

As part of their new Fashion Sets, MAC have repromoted their lipglass in Russian Red. And naturally, due to my love of the Russian Red Lipstick, I just had to try it!

A while ago I purchased all four of the Collection 2000 Cream Puffs on a whim and it has taken me forever to actually get around to reviewing them! I’ve been wanting to try MAC’s Wipes (£10.00 for 30 or £19.00 for 100) for a while now, because I tried one at a MAC Counter once and was really impressed at how easily my make up came off!

Today I’ve decided I’m going to start a new series for this blog – the Wednesday Wishlist! I always find myself scouring blogs and websites midweek and there are always so many bits that catch my eye. Admittedly this week is a bit of a cheat because yesterday I already caved in and ordered 4 out of the 7 items on this weeks list… Oops!:/

1. MAC Launch Away! Blusher (£18.00). This new blusher from the Hey, Sailor Collection really caught my eye when I saw these swatches at Beauty Icon!

2. The ‘Faerie Queen’ Nail Varnish (£10.50) from the upcoming Paul and Joe Summer Collection will be mine as soon as I can get my hands on it! The colours looks so pretty and feminine. It was due to be released on ASOS yesterday but there is still no sign of it!:(

3. I didn’t pay much attention to the ‘Sprite’ colour of nail varnish (£10.50) from the Paul & Joe Summer Collection due to my initial excitement over ‘Faerie Queen,’ but the more I see it the more I think that this pastel shimmery green could be really pretty for the end of spring!

4. Yet another piece from the gorgeous Paul & Joe Summer Collection (let’s be honest, if I could, I would order the entire release!) – this shimmery highlighting powder (£22.00) is right up my street!

5. Considering that MAC’s Russian Red Lipstick is my favourite red lipstick of all time, I absolutely had to order the matching lipglass (£13.00) and can’t wait to try it!

6. For the same reason, MAC’s Russian Red Nail Lacquer (£9.00) found it’s way into my shopping cart. I justified it as I have run out of red nail varnish, and that should be a staple in any girl’s make up bag!

7. Finally, I couldn’t resist MAC’s Crew Highlighting Powder (£21.50), because I have a thing for pretty powders, and I definitely need yet another one in my collection. Ahem.

So that’s it for my first Wednesday Wishlist! Though compiling it spelled a bit of disaster for my wallet!! What do you have your eye on at the moment? Is there anything you’d love to try?
